One of our favorite times of year is upon us, as it’s time to celebrate our nation’s independence. The Fourth of July 2022 is just a few days away, so if you’re still looking for something to do we’ve got a few ideas for you here in San Jose, CA, and the surrounding area. Whether you like parades, festivals, fireworks, or a nice dinner at sea, there are all kinds of great events - particularly if you want to travel further away, like up to San Francisco. But here are a few fun ideas right here in the area. more Fourth of July Fireworks Festival From three in the afternoon until 10 p.m., you can head to Almaden Lake Regional Park right here in San Jose to enjoy the Fourth of July Fireworks Festival. There are a ton of activities, including a fun zone, food trucks, live entertainment, a costume contest and much more. Everything caps off, of course, with a fireworks display in the evening. This is sure to be a blast for the whole family and you don’t have to go far. Rose, White & Blue Parade & Festival If you enjoy a good parade with your holiday festivities, then the Rose, White & Blue Parade here in San Jose will give you plenty to enjoy. What’s more is that the parade and car cruise kicks off at 9:45 a.m. then the festival and car show starts at 11 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m. So you can hit up this event then head to the previous one and enjoy all of that fun in one day!
