Pick up your food to go, then take it home to enjoy with the family. Or, for a sit-down meal, head to the Silicon Valley Capital Club’s Grand Thanksgiving Feast or the Thanksgiving Buffet at Fountain Restaurant for a mix of traditional and unconventional Thanksgiving Day food. Enjoy everything from turkey to sushi to charcuterie boards, and don’t forget the dessert!

Give Back

Of course, there’s always an opportunity to give back to your San Jose neighbors. Get a head start at the Make the Change food prep event at Martha’s Kitchen. Register in advance to help hungry neighbors in our community and ensure they have a warm meal for the holidays. Run (or Walk) It Off

Want to work off that huge feast? Participate in the Gobble Til You Wobble event, a completely virtual marathon that lets you choose your own distance. Get outside or on the treadmill, then start your timers to participate in a 5k, 10k, and more to compete for prizes and medals. Even better, part of this year’s registration fees will be set aside for Feeding America. If you’d prefer an in-person competition, the nationwide Turkey Trot also offers various racing distances to compete. There’s even a Kids Fun Run as part of the event to get the little ones involved and on their feet.
